"Medicine as a career would allow me to do what I love. I have always been a‘people’s person’ and being a doctor would provide me with plenty of opportunities to connect with others on a deeper level. The satisfaction of being able to help someone feel better and the fulfilment of saving a person’s life are things I am really looking forward to."

The first few months at Duke-NUS have shown me that it is possible to create a great teaching institution that centres on educating its students rather than purely focusing on grades. I personally feel that the unique approach the school takes is a very effective way of imparting practical skills and knowledge. Duke-NUS also pushes you to your limits yet provides a strong support to help you get through the curriculum.
