Help us build bursaries for passionate, talented medical students from humble backgrounds. Contrary to popular belief, most of our medical students do not come from wealthy families, with more than two thirds requiring some form of financial aid. In time, we hope these bursaries will grow to see our students through their crucial year of independent research.

The need to understand and conduct research is an important component in Duke-NUS students’ medical training. Attending medical symposiums and showcasing their research findings at conferences for peer reviews provide invaluable exposure which far surpasses any training in a classroom. This enrichment fund allows clinicians to support young clinician-scientists in training, by helping with overseas attachments and conference expenses.
