Partner us on our journey of discovery. Help fund the development of translational research (field-to-bench-to-patient research) and build up a research talent pool of active clinical researchers. Take part in the medical transformation in Singapore where academic medicine and expertise knowledge flourish. We invite you to share our vision of accelerating life-saving medical research. Through launching new and promising research initiatives, sustain productive research programs and grow the fundamental needs of a vibrant biomedical hub.

Our research programs include:
Cancer and Stem Cell Biology - Cancer is the number one killer disease in the world today. We collaborate with National Cancer Centre, NUS and A*STAR Research Institutes to explore cancers that affect the Asian community. Amongst others, one important area of cancer research aims to uncover underlying causes of bone cancer in children, with the hope that it will lead to improved treatments.
Cardiovascular & Metabolic Disorders - Cardiovascular disease and metabolic diseases such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, and diabetes are rising concerns in Asia and throughout the world.
Emerging Infectious Diseases - Research and knowledge is what lies between merely shielding a country from emerging infectious diseases and allowing an epidemic to occur. Dengue and virus studies are some of our key research focus.
Health Services & Systems Research – With the aging population in Singapore, providing healthcare for aging individuals with cognitive impairments in effective, humane and sustainable ways is a challenge we strive to meet. A first for Asia, the Lien Center for Palliative Care is a partnership between Duke-NUS, Lien Foundation and National Cancer Centre. Through research and education, the ultimate aim is to formulate better-informed healthcare policies and medical practices. Palliative care is a holistic way of relieving suffering, enhancing the quality of life for those with life-limiting illness by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders - In the highly charged societies of today, the number of people suffering from psychiatric and behavioural disorders continues to rise.
Each donation helps us explore new avenues of research to help benefit communities in Singapore and the region. Each gift is an investment for humanity’s future.
Leave an indelible footprint in the landscape of local medicine for generations to come.
