Research Interests:

My research interests focus on the broad areas of cancer epidemiology and risk modeling. Much of my work relates to the methods and applications in breast cancer epidemiology and patterns in cancer risk and outcome. This has led to many interesting publications. In particular, my research collaboration team has undertaken a number of studies to evaluate the relationship between mammographic features and subsequent breast cancer risk. My recent research has entailed a large collaboration project on projecting individualized probabilities of developing breast cancer for Singaporean women.

Most recently my main research has focused on critically evaluating cardiac operative risk, specially in validating the existing risk prediction models in patients from different ethnic groups in Singapore.
