Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is the arm of the Singapore Government responsible for healthcare policies and the quality of healthcare services in Singapore. It is an innovative and people-centered organization, committed to medical excellence, the promotion of good health and the reduction of illness. Through MOH, the Government manages the public health care system to ensure that good and affordable medical services are available to all Singaporeans. Singapore Health Services (SingHealth)

Duke-NUS is closely affiliated with Singapore Health Services (SingHealth). The strategic partnership between Duke-NUS and SingHealth positions the Outram neighborhood as a vibrant hub for the advancement of medical education, research and clinical service. The collaboration focuses on synergistic conduct of world-class research, marrying SingHealth's large clinical volumes and insights drawn from Duke-NUS's renowned research methods and innovative educational models. The close proximity between the two organizations allows SingHealth clinicians to contribute actively as members of the Duke-NUS teaching faculty and in relevant translational and clinical research. Ministry of Trade & Industry

The Ministry of Trade and Industry aims to promote economic growth and create jobs so as to achieve higher standards of living for all. In this capacity, the Ministry facilitates the development of industry sectors with strong growth potential, and protects Singapore’s international trade interests with a view to enhancing access to global markets. Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)

A*STAR is Singapore's leading agency for fostering world-class scientific research and talent for a vibrant knowledge-based Singapore. A*STAR actively nurtures public sector research and development in Biomedical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering, with a particular focus on fields essential to Singapore's manufacturing industry and new growth industries. It oversees 22 research institutes, consortia and centers, and supports extramural research with the universities, hospital research centers and other local and international partners.
