Modeled after the Advisory Dean System established in 1987 by the Dean of Medical Education, Dr Doyle Graham, at the Duke University School of Medicine, the Colleges focus on students’ professional and personal development. They provide support, advice and mentorship, connections with senior students as well as recreational opportunities and engagement in community service projects.
Each member of the Duke-NUS entering class will be assigned to a College Master who is also a faculty member. Students will meet regularly with their College Master in small groups as well as individually.
