The Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (CNL) is one of the pioneer labs of the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. It is a multidisciplinary research laboratory that studies the neural underpinnings of human behavior primarily using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
The CNL concentrates on two key areas - cognition in the setting of sleep deprivation, and the cognitive neuroscience of aging. It is also the imaging core for a large study evaluating individuals at risk of developing schizophrenia.
In addition to research on these core areas, the Lab also supports a number of other investigators who have interests ranging from sleep deprivation to mathematics education.
