With cancer the number one killer disease in the world today, scientists affiliated with the Cancer and Stem Cell Biology Program study the causes and treatments of cancer and related diseases.

While the Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) Program at Duke-NUS is a young program, it is strong and rapidly growing. Our research groups have diverse programs in both basic cancer biology and clinical-translational studies, with a special emphasis on the cancers that affect the Asian community in general. The CSCB Program also builds collaborative networks with the existing cancer research community in Singapore, including the National Cancer Center Singapore (NCCS), NUS and the A*STAR Research Institutes.
