Atiqah is a Senior Research Assistant at CARE. She graduated with a Masters in Gerontology from the Singapore University of Social Sciences in 2019. Her experience in providing case management services to older persons and caregivers in the community has ignited a passion to pursue research. In particular, Atiqah has a great interest in exploring how ageing and caregiving experiences are influenced by the interplay of social and cultural factors, and how understanding these would inform better programmes and policies. At CARE, Atiqah manages the Programme Evaluation of Project Silver Screen, which aims to understand how functional screening impacts the quality of life of seniors.

  2. A Study to Establish an Integrated Geriatric Care Model (IGCM) within Thye Hwa Kuan Moral Charity’s (THKMC) Services; and
  3. Towards Personalization: Identifying Life-History Patterns of Loneliness as the Basis for Effective Early Interventions
