Research Associate
Job Responsibilities

Perform a variety of research activities which include planning, organizing and
conducting research studies within the overall scope of a research project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or his/her designate. These include:

  • Conduct of literature reviews
  • Assist with the implementation of research designs
  • Facilitate and supervise the conduct of fieldwork
  • Assist with data analysis especially qualitative data
  • Writing reports and publications
  • Attend to administrative and logistic needs of research projects
  • Assist with Centre’s significant initiatives where required
Job Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in in epidemiology, sociology, social work, public health,
    psychology or a related discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Excellent skills in qualitative research approaches and data analysis
  • Able to lead and supervise team members
  • Able to communicate and interact comfortably with older adults
  • Extremely motivated and able to work independently in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Knowledge of local languages/dialects is a requirement due to the nature
    of the research projects.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work harmoniously with diverse
    team and workforce
