Helen joined CARE as a research intern in May 2018. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is in her second year at HELP University, Malaysia. Helen is most interested in developmental psychology as she is keen to learn about human growth. She has a strong interest in the psychological and physiological factors of ageing and has had some experience working with older adults when she volunteered at hospices in Penang.
Helen’s overall goal is to be able to learn and grow from working with experienced researchers and policy makers on creating conducive environments for successful ageing. At CARE, Helen is involved in a number of projects including the Cognition Project, the Care Close to Home Project and Prescription Medication Label Improvement for Singaporean Elderly Project. She also assists to organise CARE’s education sessions.
