Duke-NUS Medical School invites students in Australia with a keen interest in the field of medicine and/or biomedical research to our networking lunch cum information session in Brisbane on 8 April 2017. Duke-NUS is Singapore’s 1st and only US-style medical school.
Since our first intake in 2007, the school has attracted talented individuals from over 26 countries with diverse backgrounds in science, engineering and arts to pursue medicine and/or research. Our close partnership with Duke University in Durham NC, National University of Singapore and Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) has allowed Duke-NUS to achieve notable achievements in biomedical research. Over 200 have graduated from our MD programme to date.
Prof London Lucien Ooi, Associate Dean of Admissions and immediate past Chair of Surgery at Singapore General Hospital and A/Prof Silke Vogel, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Director of Centre of Regulatory Excellence will be hosting the session to meet students and share more about the graduate degree programmes, career opportunities and scholarship schemes available in Duke-NUS Medical School.
