Presents a

Grant Enhancement Training (GET)

Workshop

Two-Day intensive grant writing workshop

August 16 and 23rd, 2013

10 – 5 p.m. at Duke-NUS

This two-day workshop aims to help individuals to develop competitive grant applications. The workshop will detail how best to present the key elements of the grant. Our concept is to facilitate early engagement and collaboration between investigators and experts in study design and quantitative methods. Further, we will be hands-on in the preparation of the grant and a key component of the workshop is the dedicated review and discussion of each participant’s proposal.

After the workshop the participant will be better equipped to write a persuasive, high impact research proposal.

Clinicians (PIs) who-

  • Are interested in improving their grant applications
  • Open to suggestions on improving their research proposal
  • Have a draft research proposal ready ( 3-4 pages)
  • Planning to submit a TA, CSA, NIG or IRG or similar to the NMRC in December 2013

Complete the Registration Form and send it together with a one-page summary including hypothesis, specific aims and gap in the literature to Josephine Quek (jo.quek@duke-nus.edu.sg) by July 15th 2013.

Participation in the workshop is free. Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, the number of spaces is limited and AMRI members have priority. Enquiries: jo.quek@duke-nus.edu.sg
