Job Responsibilities: 

The Duke-NUS HSSR Program’s Health Systems Design Lab (HSDL) is recruiting research faculty whose prime interest involves application of evidence to the formation of clinical and public health policy. We are seeking a candidate with interest in aging, chronic diseases, and primary care; and modeling of health systems, services and policies

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a multidisciplinary environment, and engaging in a pragmatic research agenda in Singapore and the region.

Job Requirements: 

  • Appropriate PhD/medical degree.
  • Advanced research training, for example through an advanced methodological degree, research fellowship or evidence of a coherent set of courses in modeling.
  • Generated own research agenda / established own research program.
  • Demonstrated ability to write grant proposals and maintain appropriate accountability.
  • A distinctive body of independent research.
  • Strong publication record.
  • Evidence in publication record of contributing productively to the work of others.
  • Combination of independent research and broad research collaboration, with clinical and policy partners in Singapore and elsewhere in Asia.

  • Ability to work comfortably at the interface between health content and methodology

The initial contract period for this position is 2 years with renewal potential based on performance and contribution to new external grant funding.
