Rita Sim Siew Choo

Rita Sim is a Research Associate.  She has a B.Sc in Business from Indiana University, USA.  She is the program coordinator for SAFE project which is a multifactorial, evidence-based program of screening, risk modification and physical therapy to prevent falls among the vulnerable elderly recently discharged from hospital to the community. She also assists Prof Angelique Chan in overseeing SCOPE, a study on self-care for the older persons in Singapore.

Naina Verghese

Naina is a Research Assistant working for Prof Eric Finkelstein. She holds a BSocsc in Applied and Policy Economics from National University of Singapore. She is very interested in cultivating her research skills in the fields of health, international development and the environment. She is currently working on a cost-effectiveness analysis for commercial weight loss strategies, a survey on 'Asian Patient Perspectives Regarding Oncology Awareness, Care, & Health', and a review of pharmaceutical pricing policies in Asia.

Sagun Agrawal

Sagun joined HSSR in July 2017. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Economics (with Honors) in 2015. Thereafter she completed her Masters in Economics from the University of Chicago before joining HSSR as a Research Assistant. Her research interests lie in health and education economics in the developing context. She wants to get hands-on research skills that will help her in pursuing a PhD in Public Policy/Economics in the future.

Saeideh Tavajoh

Saeideh is a clinician with  a background in general medicine and diabetology. Before moving to Singapore she was involved in both clinical practice and research in non-communicable diseases, specifically diabetes and hypertension. Currently, she is working in Prof. Tazeen Jafar’s research group with a focus on management of hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

Mary Ann C Bautista is a Research Associate working under the supervision of Asst Prof Rahul Malhotra. She holds a MSc degree (by Research) from the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. She completed her undergraduate studies (BSc in Public Health) at the College of Public Health, University of the Philippines.
