Dr Justin Chu is Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and ID TRP at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, where he also serves as Director of the BSL3 Facility. His research focuses on the molecular virology of positive-sense RNA viruses, contributing to next-generation vaccines and antiviral therapeutics. He is listed among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists 

(2021–2025), was President of the Asia-Pacific Society of Medical Virology (2019–2024) and is currently President of the Singapore Society for Microbiology and Biotechnology.
