Phua Tien Beng held a key leadership role at Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company, a subsidiary of Ping A Group, one of the world’s largest financial services conglomerates with over $1 trillion in assets. During his tenure, Phua was instrumental in the acquisition and integration of Founders Group, a significant $1.5 billion deal that expanded Ping An’s healthcare footprint in China. This acquisition included the Peking University Healthcare Group and Peking University International Hospital, renowned for their medical expertise and large patient volumes.

Phua oversaw the operations of these institutions, which collectively manage hundreds of thousands of patient visits annually. Under his leadership, the integration process focused on leveraging advanced healthcare technologies, improving operational efficiencies, and enhancing patient care. Prior to his role at Ping An, Phua Tien Beng was the Chief Executive Officer of Parkway Pantai’s Singapore Operations Division, where he managed several of Singapore’s top private hospitals. These hospitals, including Gleneagles, Mount Elizabeth, and Parkway East, are recognized for their high standards of patient care and have collectively served millions of patients. Phua’s leadership was pivotal in driving operational improvements and expanding the hospitals’ service offerings, resulting in enhanced financial performance and patient care quality.
