Choo Xin Yi

Senior Research Fellow

Xin Yi graduated from The University of Melbourne with a BH-BMed (Hons), majoring in Pathology. She continued her Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne where she trained with Dr Anthony R. White where she studied metallo-complexes as potential therapeutic treatment for Alzheimer’s disease and Dr Jose M. Polo to study microglia heterogeneity in Alzheimer’s disease.

Back in Singapore, Xin Yi joined the Rackham lab at Duke-NUS in 2019 to understand transcription factor driven cell differentiation and trans-differentiation using CRISPR technology.

When out of the lab, she enjoys travelling, outdoor activities and music.
