Effective early warning systems are critical for timely responses to pathogen spillover and outbreaks. However, surveillance remains a challenge in high-risk regions, where frequent human-animal interactions intersect with limited infrastructure.
Join us for an engaging talk exploring what makes a laboratory truly portable and introducing a field-deployable laboratory from Cambodia designed for real-time genomic surveillance at the point of need.
Examples from ongoing work in Cambodia will be presented to demonstrate the performance and real-world applicability of this approach in resource-limited settings.
