PathGen Preview: First public look

On 1 December 2025 in Singapore, the Asia Pathogen Genomics Initiative (Asia PGI) unveiled the first public preview of PathGen, an AI-powered platform that integrates pathogen genomic, clinical, and contextual data to enable faster, more informed public health responses while preserving data sovereignty. Hosted by the Duke-NUS Centre for Outbreak Preparedness and Temasek Foundation, and supported by catalytic funders including the Gates Foundation, Philanthropy Asia Alliance, and Temasek Foundation, the event convened regional health leaders and partners to advance collective health security across Asia and beyond.
