Humayun Sharif is currently working as a Principal Scientist in Protein Homeostasis Centre of Excellence at Bristol Myers Squibb. Prior to this, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow and later as an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School in Hao Wu’s lab. He completed his PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Germany. Dr. Sharif plans to use advanced structural biology and biochemical techniques to study host-pathogen interactions and innate immune response. His long-term aim is to use structure-driven knowledge to answer fundamental questions of immune disease progression.
