In Dr Roland Roberts’ academic life, he was a human geneticist linked to a clinical department, and was a PI for 10 years. He switched to scientific publishing in 2011, and mostly handles papers on ecology (including disease ecology), evolutionary biology 

(including microbial, AMR, etc.), and meta-research.
