Dr Arinjay Banerjee is a Canada Research Chair in Zoonotic Viruses and Animal Reservoirs and a Canadian Academy of Health Sciences Emerging Leader. Dr Banerjee is the Principal Investigator (Associate Professor rank) at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization, University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Dr Banerjee co-developed the Canadian One Health Training Program on Emerging Zoonoses. Dr Banerjee is a Director of the Canadian Society for Virology. He has won several awards, with the most recent being the King Charles III Coronation Medal, which highlights the significant contribution of individuals to their province and to Canada.
