PhD in Population Health and Health Services

Shape the Future of Healthcare Through Research

Healthcare systems around the world are facing unprecedented challenges, including ageing populations, rising chronic disease, escalating healthcare costs, and increasing demand for sustainable models of care. Addressing these complex issues requires rigorous research that informs policy, improves healthcare delivery, and transforms population health outcomes.

The PhD in Population Health and Health Services at Duke-NUS Medical School is designed to develop the next generation of health services researchers and population health leaders. Through advanced research training, interdisciplinary mentorship, and access to real-world healthcare data, students will gain the expertise to generate evidence that shapes healthcare policy, clinical practice, and health system design.
