Abstract:
The diverse clinical phenotypes of ASD have hampered the elucidation of pathological mechanisms. Based on iPSCs-derived cerebral organoids from ASD individuals, multiple cell lines and time series scRNA-seq combined with histomorphological analysis showed premature neural differentiation of neural stem cells and decreased expression of Fatty acid binding protein 7 (FABP7) in the ASD organoids. Meanwhile, upregulation of FABP7 rescued improper neural differentiation in the ASD organoids.
