Newly Set Up Stem Cell & Gene Editing (SCAGE) Core Facility

Stem Cell and Gene Editing (SCAGE) Core Facility

The Stem Cell and Gene Editing (SCAGE) core facility has been set up in Duke-NUS headed by Prof Zhang Suchun (Programme Director, Neuroscience & Behavioral Disorders Programme), and managed by Dr Gunaseelan S/O Narayanan & Dr Alfred Sun. This facility provides CRISPR gene editing and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPS) reprogramming as a service. For gene editing, their services cover the whole pipeline of CRISPR editing which includes the design of guide RNAs, generation of the edited clone, validation of the desired genotype by sequencing and off-target analysis. For reprogramming, they are able to generate iPS from both human fibroblasts and blood and perform characterization assays on the iPS. For further enquiries, feel free to contact Dr Gunaseelan at gunaseelan@duke-nus.edu.sg
