Jointly organized by UPEC and Duke-NUS, this seminar explores the ED overcrowding situation in other international settings in the U.S. and Japan, and how they have developed measures to tackle these challenges. We will review Singapore’s ambulance zoning in its present form, and possible future directions. Alternative care service pathways in the prehospital community setting, paramedic higher education with upskilling and broadened scopes of paramedical practice are in the works – come down to join the discussion and find out more at the seminar.
