Recruitment for MEDICS Trial

We would like to invite interested volunteers to participate in this Mobile External Defibrillation Investigation for Cardiac arrest in Singapore (MEDICS Trial).

 

MEDICS is a research study that aims to observe personal AED carry-and-response behaviour. Eligible participants will be equipped with an AED device to carry for the duration of the study. Hands-on training will be provided by the AED vendor, and there is no cost to participate.

Participation is voluntary, and consent is required before joining the study.

 

Members who are interested should meet the following criteria:

1. Be 21 to 74 years of age;
2. Be an active myResponder app user; and
3. Be willing and able to move rapidly to respond to a cardiac arrest scene.
