The Kyoto University–Duke-NUS International Resuscitation Science Workshop

The Kyoto University–Duke-NUS International Resuscitation Science Workshop (24–26 Nov 2025), funded by a JSPS–NUS collaboration grant, brought together leading clinicians, scientists, and health services researchers across Asia to advance cardiac arrest care. Over three days, the programme spanned BLS/CPR and community response, CPR/AED education and digital tools, big data and health economics, ACLS/ICU care, pediatrics and etiology (including genetics and climate), survivorship and TOR/WLST, global collaboration, and fair, interpretable AI. The workshop concluded with team presentations and actionable next steps, catalysing new multicentre projects, registry enhancements, and cross-institution partnerships to translate evidence into impact.
