1. Panel on Health and Ageing of Singaporean Elderly (PHASE)

The study aims to examine the interactions among physical health, social engagement, socioeconomic status, social network support, and loneliness; to explore constraints and opportunities for social participation; and to identify preferences and strategies for preventing and addressing social isolation among the elderly.

2. Transitions in Health, Employment, Social Engagement and Inter-Generational Transfers in Singapore Study (THE SIGNS Study)

The study aims to provide evidence to support policymakers in promoting productive and active ageing among older adults in Singapore. Specifically, it seeks to identify the patterns, determinants, and outcomes related to health, employment, retirement, social engagement, volunteerism, and intergenerational transfers among Singaporean citizens and permanent residents aged 60 years and above.
