The Goh Cardiovascular Research Award (GCRA) is a funding award made possible by the generous gift from the Goh Foundation. The award aims to support and enhance cardiovascular research impact at Duke-NUS Medical School and National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS).
The GCRA provides seed funding for innovative pilot studies that explore novel hypotheses and new research directions distinct from existing projects. It prioritises ideas that address critical scientific challenges and unmet needs needs in cardiometabolomic biology and medicine.
By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across laboratory and departments, the GCRA aims to strengthen research capabilities and catalyse the development of larger, team-based proposals for external competitive funding. Through this initiative, Duke-NUS Medical School reaffirms its commitment to pioneering cardiovascular research that translates to better health outcomes.
