Cardiovascular Physiology Core

Cardiovascular (CV) Physiology Core provides functional assessment to cardiovascular function in small experimental models (mice and rats).  The key infrastructure includes Vevo Ultrasound imaging system, Millar catheter, telemetric sensor for blood pressure and ECG.  The main data output includes cardiac morphometrics, systolic and diastolic function, muscle strain analysis, flow velocity at cardiac valves and major vessels, blood pressure and cardiac rhythm.
