Our Regional Presence

We operate across 47 countries—primarily in Asia (see Global Health Project Registry )—with a strong presence through Regional Collaborating Centres (RCCs) in Jaffna (Sri Lanka), Hanoi (Vietnam), and Medan (Indonesia).

A cornerstone of our work, these RCCs embody the collaboration between our institute and leading institutions across Asia. They serve as hubs for knowledge exchange and joint innovation, driving evidence-based solutions to urgent global health challenges.

Most critically, RCCs contribute to building stronger, more resilient healthcare systems across the region.

RCC Key Objectives

  • Strengthen healthcare workforce for all parties involved through cross-institutional training for professionals and students

  • Foster collaborative research between local and global institutions to drive innovation and improve health outcomes for all

  • Support evidence-based policymaking to enhance our respective healthcare landscape

  • Establish joint operational mechanisms for seamless staff and resource exchange

  • Develop shared funding opportunities to encourage new collaborations and sustain long-term partnerships
