The inaugural Singapore Global Health Film Festival 2026 units clinicians, researchers, public health professionals, policymakers, philanthropists and the public committed to a healthier, more equitable world. 

Over two evenings, step into gripping stories that spotlight urgent issues of our time - from pandemic preparedness to the future of our planet, and how communities everywhere can shape healthier, more resilient societies. 

Hosted by the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI), with generous support from Hilleman Laboratories, Duke-NUS Medical School, and the SingHealth International Collaboration Office, this event offers a rare chance to experience acclaimed documentaries and live conversations with filmmakers and experts, sparking dialogue, deepening understanding, and inspiring collective action for global health. 

Each evening features a film screening followed by a conversation with subject-matter experts, partners and the global health community.

Explores the complex realities of infectious disease threats in an interconnected world. Through gripping personal narratives and expert insights, the film uncovers the science, systems and human stories behind outbreaks and what it truly takes for nations and communities to stay ahead of the next pandemic.

28 January 2026: 2040

Motivated by concerns about the future his young daughter will inherit, filmmaker Damon Gameau embarks on a global journey to discover practical, scalable solutions that already exist today. It is uplifting, imaginative and rooted in science; showing how food systems, energy, transport and community innovations could create a healthier planet for the next generation.
