2021 Workshop: Health Technology Assessment & the Art of Decision Making (Conducted Remotely)


In view of the ongoing situation for COVID-19 and the local measures to contain the spread, we would like to update you that the “Health Technology Assessment & the Art of Decision Making Workshophas been rescheduled to 8 February – 10 March 2021 via remote learning. The workshop will culminate in three 2.5-hour virtual hands-on sessions on the 8 – 10 March 2021 to consolidate learnings for participants.


This workshop is organised in collaboration with the Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE), to equip healthcare professionals with practical knowledge and skills in health technology assessment. Participants will learn to critique the clinical and cost-effectiveness of a health technology, and assess its value and impact on clinical practice and patients. Through experiential learning, participants will appreciate the key considerations and trade-offs of employing HTA in decision-making.
