2018 NIHA: Future Leaders Programme

Building on the success of the 2017 LDP, the NIHA Future Leaders Programme 2018 aims to equip health policy leaders with insights to tackle the pressing strategic challenges for healthcare in the Asia-Pacific region. To be held from 3 – 7 December in Singapore with the theme of Transformational Leadership in Healthcare, the 5-day programme will use a design thinking approach to explore harnessing health systems transformation, finance & regulatory reform and technological innovation to address the challenges of healthcare systems across the region. This course is crafted for future health policy leaders who will significantly influence the regional healthcare landscape. Through the immersive and interactive learning approach and a programme crafted in consultation with the Singapore Ministry of Health, leaders nominated as participants for this programme will have the opportunity to engage in open discussions, experience sharing and interaction with our faculty of esteemed healthcare leaders from government, industry and academia, and colleagues from different ministries of health. Together, they will gain greater understanding of the complexities of healthcare policy issues and co-create solutions to meet the challenges of healthcare systems across the Asia-Pacific. Participants will interact with eminent senior leaders from healthcare systems in Singapore and the region, and senior management from Singapore’s Ministry of Health and the public sector healthcare clusters during formal dinners.
