(Virtually)
Patient advocacy is essential in ensuring patients’ voices are heard and their rights are upheld. Advocates operate in various roles, from those directly engaging with stakeholders such as policymakers, healthcare providers or media to those influencing healthcare policies behind the scenes through research. Regardless of where they work, all advocates contribute to delivering patient-centered care.
This webinar will explore the different types of patient advocacy and highlight the importance of partnerships between advocates, healthcare providers, and patients. By understanding these roles, participants can become better partners, fostering stronger relationships that improve patient outcomes. Attendees will gain practical strategies to enhance their advocacy efforts and foster growth in the field, ultimately strengthening the healthcare system for all.
