I have been most impressed not only because of the high quality of their work but also with their earnest desire to engage in deep conversations to better understand real world issues in the research areas they undertake. The African Palliative Care Association has worked with the center and greatly benefitted from the quality of death index which we have used to advocate for and cause governments to invest more into palliative care as part of strengthening health systems on the continent.
