Singapore Palliative Care Conference 2026

That's a wrap on the 9th Singapore Palliative Care Conference! It has been a privilege for LCPC to connect with so many passionate healthcare professionals, partners, and friends in the community. We were also honoured to welcome Minister Ong Ye Kung to our booth, where he joined in the activity and tried his hand at our spin-the-wheel game. From meaningful conversations to the fun spins of the wheel — thank you for stopping by, sharing your experiences, and learning alongside us. Until next time, we look forward to continuing these conversations and working together to make a difference in palliative care.

Senior research fellow Ellie Bostwick Andres and research director Associate Professor Chetna Malhotra from the Lien Centre for Palliative Care shared more about the findings.

SIC goes to Taiwan!

This March, LCPC took the Serious Illness Conversations (SIC) workshop to Taiwan. In collaboration with the Hospice Foundation of Taiwan (HFT), a team of SIC faculty conducted a series of workshops fully in Mandarin using our new Mandarin SICG (patient-tested). Travelling across Taiwan from Hualien to Taipei and ending in Taichung, the SIC team had the opportunity to share with healthcare professionals from different settings in Taiwan how serious illness conversations are held in Singapore.
