杜克—新加坡国大医学院 成功复制武汉肺炎病毒 (Lianhe Zaobao Premium)

Scientists from Duke-NUS Medical School, led by Professor Wang Linfa, Director of the Duke-NUS' Emerging Infectious Diseases programme, in close collaboration with clinicians and scientists from SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, Singapore General Hospital, National Centre for Infectious Diseases and Ministry of Health, have successfully cultured the coronavirus from an infected patient’s clinical sample. In this interview, Prof Linfa talks about how the virus will be used for developing new diagnostic methods, monitoring potential mutation and testing for potential vaccine and drugs.
