Clinical Associate Professor Ng Kee Chong was Head of Children’s Emergency, KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), from March 2005 to February 2016 and was appointed Chairman, Division of Medicine in July 2012 as well as Chair, Academic clinical program (Paediatrics), SingHealth. He did a 1 year HMDP fellowship in Paediatric Emergency Medicine from 1998 to 1999 at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a member of the MOH National Trauma Committee and formerly co-chairing KKH’s Trauma Committee and was Chair of the KKH Emergency Preparedness Committee from 1997 to 2016. Adjunct Associate Professor Ng is also a member of the National Resuscitation Council (NRC) and Chairman of the Paediatric Life Support Subcommittee of the NRC. He is currently a member of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2015 Pediatrics Taskforce and also Campus Director of Medical Innovation & Care Transformation (MICT), KKH.

A Clinical Associate Professor with the Duke-NUS and Adjunct Associate Professor with NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, he has been on the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Admissions Committee since 2009 and was Co-Chair of the 2009-2011 MOH Toxicology CPG Workgroup. He has led various regional outreach teams to teach paediatric resuscitation using the train-the-trainer framework. He is currently running programs in Laos and Myanmar.
