Academic Programmes Support & Evaluation team supports funding for academic medicine initiatives across the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). It facilitates pre-award grant reviews and approvals, and post-award variation, extension and progress reporting for grants and awards disbursed to clinicians and medical students. These funding aims to support AM activities in the AMC, nurture clinician researchers, develop medical student talent pipeline, and strengthen capabilities in SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC to advance Academic Medicine.

The initiatives include:

  • ACP & SDDC Academic Support Grants (post-award only)
  • ACP Programme Grants, including Nurturing Clinician Researcher Scheme (NCRS)
  • AM/ ACP-Designated Philanthropic Grants, including grants for Distinguished Professorship and Faculty Professorship awardees
  • AM-ETHOS Duke-NUS Medical Student Fellowship (MSF)
  • SingHealth Medical Student Talent Development Award (SMSTDA)
  • PhD Scholarship for Clinician Researchers
  • Resident Research Scholar (R2S) Award
