Bio

Dr Ithnin is currently a Senior Consultant in the Department of Women’s Anaesthesia, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. 
She was educated at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin before completing her Masters in Medicine (Anaesthesiology) from the National University of Singapore. Her main interest is obstetric anaesthesia, being actively involved in the clinical, educational, research and management aspects of the specialty for many years. Her scholarly activities are focused on medical education and clinical research in the field of obstetric anaesthesia. She is currently the Associate Program Director for SingHealth Anaesthesiology Residency Program and Supervisor of Training for Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
