Bio
Dr Dawn Chia graduated from NUS Faculty of Medicine and obtained her postgraduate qualifications of Master of Medicine (Surgery). She has completed her Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery specialty training, and underwent further subspecialty fellowship training in Microsurgery and Brachial Plexus Reconstruction in Japan under the Singapore Ministry of Health Human Manpower Development Program.
Dr Chia treats conditions of the hand and wrist including injuries and fractures, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies like trigger fingers and tenosynovitis. She sub-specialty interest are in peripheral nerve conditions and paralytic limb reconstruction.
She is actively involved in academic medicine and clinical research, and has presented at local and international conferences, authored numerus papers and awarded multiple research prizes, scholarships and grants.
