Bio

After completing my basic medical degree and speciality Radiology training in India ( B.J Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals, University of Pune, Pune, Maharashtra), I obtained my fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London UK (2004-2006) and at the University Health Network, University of Toronto, Toronto Canada (2007-2008). I started my Consultant career at Singapore General Hospital (2009) and I am now a Senior Consultant in the Department of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Singapore General Hospital.
I practice the whole gamut of IR but have a special interest in vascular and hepato-biliary IR.
I am an active member of the local Radiology and Interventional Radiology community. I have been an invited speaker at local, regional and international meetings. My interest in research has resulted in publications in international journals and invited book chapters. I am a reviewer for both the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and am an Editorial Board member for Oncology Interventions, CVIR, European Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.
As Fellowship Director for the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and as Faculty of the Radiology Residency program, I have a commitment to teaching and education.
