ABOUT THE LECTURE:
During this presentation, Dr. Dorfman will focus on two under-addressed topics in adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivorship: 1) symptom management to facilitate engagement in developmentally relevant, values-consistent goals for AYAs with advanced cancer; and 2) family building options and health concerns during pregnancy for female AYA survivors. She will provide information about two interventions she developed to address these topics, including the rationale for the interventions, the process used to tailor the interventions to the specific needs of the population, and the rationale for intervention components along with study results.
