Bio

Dr Adrian Ee graduated from National University of Singapore in 1986 and obtained his post graduate degree in Family Medicine MMed in 1993, FCFP in 2003, and FAMS (Family Medicine) from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2015. Dr Ee’s clinical and research fields of interest include chronic disease management, development of primary care systems and care delivery, IT and innovation.

He currently holds the position as Director-Medical Correctional Medicine for Changi Medical Facility. He was the former Chief Executive Officer at SingHealth Polyclinics and Chair of Family Medicine ACP, SingHealth Duke-NUS. He is a member of the Family Physician Accreditation Board, at the Ministry of Health, Singapore. He is also the Clinical Assistant Professor, Family Medicine Clerkship, Duke-NUS and Adjunct Assistant Professor (Honorary) NUS, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine for FM postings, attachments and training for undergraduate medical students. Dr Ee is pivotal in transforming patient care at SingHealth Polyclinics. His vision of a care delivery system enabled by technology paved the way for implementation of innovative solutions such as electronic medical records to facilitate access to patient medical history at point of care; consolidated billing and the use of self-service kiosks for patients to make payment and appointments. Under his stewardship, new clinical services such as Family Physician Clinic and Nurse Clinician Service, as well as Telecare are integrated to provide seamless care, especially for patients with chronic diseases who require long term follow-up management.

On the education front, Dr Ee plays an active role in the education of medical students and Residents in his capacities as Clinical Assistant Professor in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Duke-NUS for Family Medicine.
