Bio
Barkat Sikder is a Research Assistant at the Lien Centre for Palliative Care at Duke-NUS Medical School. His research focuses on evaluating healthcare and health outcomes in end-of-life care, neonatal health, and nutrition policy. In addition to his research, he serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Graduate Certificate Programme in Health Economic Evaluation, supporting the health econometrics sequence, and is co-developing a new course on stated preference methods launching in 2027.
He previously worked at The Brattle Group in Boston, where he supported economic analyses in antitrust and competition matters. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Swarthmore College.
