Bio

I am a Senior Research Assistant at Duke-NUS Medical School’s Lien Centre for Palliative Care, with over six years of experience supporting multidisciplinary research across areas such as advanced dementia, advanced heart failure, end-stage kidney disease, cancer, advance care planning, caregiving impact, quality of care, and physician–patient communication. My work encompasses quantitative and qualitative data collection, patient and caregiver recruitment in inpatient and outpatient settings, liaison with healthcare and eldercare partners, data management, and project coordination, as well as contributions to literature reviews, ethics submissions, and manuscript preparation. My academic and practice-based training in Social Work from the National University of Singapore also strengthened my skills in psychosocial assessment, caregiver support and community engagement, complementing my research experience in palliative and supportive care.
