Bio
Jason is an Assistant Professor with the Technology Enhanced Learning and Innovation Department within the Office of Education at Duke-NUS Medical School. He has a joint appointment with the Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI), a collaborative effort by SingHealth and Duke-NUS to provide excellence in teaching and learning. Jason has over 15 years of experience in education research and administration at the university level, including faculty development, scholarship of teaching and learning, and curriculum design. He is interested in technology, learning spaces, and medical education. Currently, Jason's research examines the use of technology in medical education, including immersive learning, 3D printing, and AR/VR technologies such as the Anatomage Table and Meta Quest, for anatomy learning. He takes a grounded approach to data collection, focusing on understanding how learning occurs.
